SEAVI Advent has a presence in Singapore, Hong Kong S.A.R. and Shanghai. Our operating partners have a combined experience of over 80 years in private equity and are supported by other investment professionals possessing relevant operating experience, along with in-depth geographical and industry knowledge. Where required, our professionals will also draw assistance and insights from industry / sector specialists. Having invested across all stages and having structured a wide range of transactions (including significant minority equity investments, minority or majority recapitalisations, mezzanine financing, leveraged transaction and management buyouts) our deal teams are well qualified to assist portfolio companies on a range of technical, operational and financial issues.

DERRICK LEE
Managing Partner
Mr. Lee is responsible for SEAVI Advent’s Asia Pacific investment activities. He has led or co-led investments in more than 40 companies. He has been with SEAVI Advent since its inception, responsible for investments in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines. Previously, he was the Financial Controller of a leading dairy products manufacturer in the region and was an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Lee is a graduate of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Institute of Administrative Management.
HOE BOON KWEE
Partner / Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Hoe is responsible for the financial administration of SEAVI Advent’s investment operations. He joined SEAVI Advent in 1989 and previously worked in the internal audit department of Inchcape Bhd., where he advanced to the position of Finance Manager of an Inchcape subsidiary, overseeing financial, accounting and administrative functions. Prior to Inchcape, he spent several years with Coopers & Lybrand in Singapore, where he gained experience in corporate auditing. Mr. Hoe is a graduate of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants in England and is a Certified Public Accountant in Singapore.
KEVIN CHAN
Senior Partner
Mr. Chan is responsible for SEAVI Advent’s investment activities, with a particular focus on Mainland China and Hong Kong. With a career spanning close to 30 years in the investment profession, 20 of which as partner with SEAVI Advent and 3 years as principal at Advent International, Mr Chan is highly experienced in all aspects of fund management. He last served as an Associate Director of HSBC, where he co-founded its telecom/Internet practice, and earlier worked at Goldman Sachs. Before business school, he spent four years as a network engineer at NYNEX in New York and two years as a network operations manager at a European start-up funded by Millicom International Cellular. Mr. Chan received an MA in Engineering from Cambridge University, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
KENNETH LEE
Singapore
Kenneth joined SEAVI Advent in 2020 as In-house Counsel and is currently based in Singapore, where he is involved in legal and compliance matters as well as investor relations and portfolio management. Prior to joining SEAVI Advent, he spent 3 years in Compliance at BNP Paribas and Standard Chartered Bank in a regional advisory role. Kenneth started off as a Registered Foreign Lawyer at Jones Day, Hong Kong in the Capital Markets department, where he was involved in the Initial Public Offering and merger & acquisitions of companies in Greater China and Hong Kong as well as advising fund companies.

Kenneth graduated from the University of Nottingham with a LLB with honours. He is also called to the Singapore Bar and is in the process of obtaining his Chartered Financial Analyst qualification.
lI SIHAO
Shanghai
Sihao joined SEAVI Advent in 2021 and is currently an Associate. He is currently based in Shanghai where he focuses on B2B technology and the new economy sectors. Sihao started off as an auditor at KPMG Shanghai where he spent two years and was involved in the statutory audit of HK-listed companies and PRC subsidiaries of US-listed companies.

Sihao graduated from the Shanghai International Studies University and further pursued a Master of Business Administration at Schulich School of Business at York University. He is also in the process of obtaining his Chartered Financial Analyst qualification.
lIU YUHENG
Shanghai
Yuheng joined SEAVI Advent in 2020 as an Analyst and is currently based in Shanghai, where he is responsible for deal sourcing, portfolio monitoring and the performance of due diligence for new investments. Prior to joining SEAVI Advent, he spent 3 years as an audit manager at the Capital Markets division of Moore Stephens Dahua CPA, where he was mainly responsible for providing audit and M&A advisory services to A-share listed companies.
Yuheng graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor's in Accounting from Tianjin Commerce University.
ADVISORY BOARD
SEAVI Advent’s Advisory Board is established to provide the additional depth and range from its members, thus providing further qualitative insight into investment ideas and opportunities. Members comprise individuals with experiences in various industries imparting knowledge in a number of strategic areas and sectors. Besides bringing their industry expertise, members may also be called upon to provide advice and guidance regarding economic trends, investment opportunities, due diligence issues and other related matters.
